FaZe Clan commissioned our production team to create a high-energy season trailer for the Los Alamitos Griffins 2023 football season, featuring #1 ESPN recruit Malachi Nelson. This project marked a strategic initiative for FaZe Clan's expansion into traditional sports content through their new Sports Division. The challenge was to establish FaZe's distinctive visual identity within traditional sports while showcasing the program's elite talent and championship aspirations.

CREATIVE APPROACH

We developed a concept that introduced FaZe Clan's unique approach to sports storytelling. Our approach leveraged cinematic sports filmmaking techniques with contemporary cultural elements, creating a trailer that elevated high school football to premium production values. By centering the narrative around Malachi Nelson's #1 ranking while highlighting the team's collective strength, we created content that celebrated both individual talent and team excellence while establishing FaZe's voice in traditional sports coverage.
